FTE-method and tailored panels with alkus-plastic facing

Standardized slab formwork systems have often no chance when round or elliptical slab layouts have to be formed. Not so for the eye-catching building which is currently under construction in the city centre of Dortmund. The so-called “RWE-Tower“, which was designed by the renowned Dortmund architects of “Gerber“, has a striking lenticular layout. With 22 storeys and a total height of approx. 100 m this office building will be the highest building in town and a major element of the Dortmund skyline.
