A prominent hotel and apartment complex is taking shape in Dubai’s Al Qusais district. JAMS Contracting ranks among the leading contractors in the region and is the name behind many renowned landmarks. Typical for residential projects of this type is the demand for efficiency and speed. The MevaDec hand-set slab system proved once more to be best in class in terms of cost, speed and quality for the slab work. These advantages come from flexibility with filler areas, easy adaptation to building layouts, reduced inventory thanks to early stripping and quick cycles without using a crane. This allows for easy planning, logistics and smooth work flow, thus saving time. In addition to speed, the system delivers a superior, smooth concrete surface due to the panel’s all-plastic alkus facing.
