Comprehensive Engineering Support

As with many areas in the United Arab Emirates, Sharjah is growing rapidly. To cope with an increase of 150,000 residents, Sharjah Municipality is upgrading its sewage treatment plant at Al Dhaid. Phase 6 extension entails upgrading control systems, improving effluent quality and doubling the plant‘s capacity by 37,400m³ per day. Concrete works include large water tanks with tilted baffle walls, outer and inside walls plus slabs and columns. The site relied on MEVA‘s heavy-duty wall system Mammut 350 and its 100 kN/m² load capacity to master the high pours, tightly scheduled pour cycles, planned and supported by the engineering team at MEVA KHK in Dubai.
